So, I am starting a book....the premise is that there are lots of cool places in Illinois that are neither Chicago or Springfiled. This fist attempt will be a photo essay of places in the northern part of the region.

The book will be comprised of "units",  each unit being a site or geographic area with points of interest. The book will be largely a collection of photographs for each unit accompanied by a few descriptive details and specifics about how to find out more for those interested.
